The critical transaction in ‘Stupid’ is for White to make Black call him stupid or respond as though he were stupid. He wants his behaviour to be taken seriously, as evidence of real stupidity.
If a player is coming to a psychiatrist to not get better? Then most likely the game of Psychiatry is being played. It's that payoff that comes from knowing enough to push their agenda and get the control over their therapist just enough to not have to work on improvement. That is psychiatry.
Searching out that master of their art, the Peasant presents their problem and is amazed and awed with the cure. Unable to afford or understand the treatment, the Peasant is just thrilled to have such an amazing person help them out. This is the game of Peasant.
Have you ever known those situations where someone was acting like they were trying to help someone, but they really weren't? And the person they weren't really trying to help was acting like they were trying to rehabilitate themselves but they really weren't? That is Indigence.

This game is played at the Clients expense at the hands of Helper. The Helper advises the Client, the Client screws things up due to the nature of the activity anyway. This allows the Helper to play a gotcha and win the game showing the Client who is in charge.
This is a variation of ‘Psychiatry’, which is played hardest by young social scientists, such as clinical psychologists. There is a strong tendency for recent graduates to have an exaggerated respect for what they call ‘Genuine Feelings’.
